Three Steps To A Wildly Successful Week

Even better than coffee to start off your day (and your week) right…

Monday: Action Plan For The Day

1. Pray

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7)

Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks : for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. (1 Thessalonians 5:17-18)

2. Do What Can Be Done

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. (Colossians 3:23-24)

3. Don’t Fret

Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life? Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. (Matthew 6:27, 34)

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. (Isaiah 41:10)

See? Better than Starbucks.

  1. I just have to say that the timing of this post (isn’t that just like God?) is perfect for me. I started a new job and today I am starting something that scares me to death, It isn’t a hard thing, just outside, my comfort zone. I have been praying to be able to remember that on my own I cannot do it, but on God’s strength I can. So even though you didn’t know it God did, I needed these words to get me through this week. Thank you.

    • It IS just like God! I was talking with our boys tonight at bedtime how cool it is that the bible is living, and God can use the right verse at the right moment to speak life to your heart! I’m so glad you read this post in a timely moment, and it encouraged you!
      God bless you,
