When my friend and news anchor Victoria asked me to do the live craft segment on the news, I actually thought about not doing it.
Which is crazy. Because I ended up completely loving it.
I decided to do the clip frames I blogged last week because I had a few extra supplies on hand, and I thought they would make a good, accessible craft for the audience that I could demonstrate in a tight time frame.
It was absolutely fascinating for me to watch the moving parts during a live broadcast. I practically geeked out afterwards, seriously. They ran that hour like a perfectly-orchestrated and well-oiled machine. I basically watched a beautifully choreographed dance! Seriously! [Glad I didn’t mess it up when my part came!] Wanna see?! Click here or image below for the full video, wheeee!
A star is born! Haha, well, or maybe not… But at LEAST I had gobs of fun …aaaand didn’t knock anything over while on camera or anything. Like I mentioned on facebook a few days ago, I made a couple of extra examples of the clip frame for the broadcast, and I want to give them away to YOU! So if you want one, please enter below for a chance to win one of three clip frames being given away, lovingly handmade by yours truly! And although I’m keeping this giveaway short, sweet, and un-complicated (so this is not a condition of entry), I’d always love for you to follow along our on-and-off-the-blog shenanigans on facebook and instagram! Giveaway ends next Wednesday, March 25th, at 11:59p.m., and I will announce the winner next Friday, WHEEEEEE! Click below to enter.
[The fine print: Winner’s mailing address must be in U.S. and you can’t, like, sue me if you get a splinter from the wood or pinch yourself in the clip of your clip frame. The email address you enter into Rafflecopter is not used for ANY other purpose except to notify you if you win. I don’t save them once the giveaway is over, and your email address will not be used, sold, or otherwise abused!] 🙂
Well done on the news! You sound just like I imagined😊

That is so funny you should say that because when I first saw it I asked, “Is that really what I sound like?!” 🙂
