These Are A Few Of My Favorite [DaySpring] Things {and the winner!}

[disclaimer: this post contains affiliate links.]

As many of you know, one of my favorite things about blogging is being able to give fun gifts away to you guys! AND one of my favorite things about DIY home decor (besides saving money) is being able to incorporate God’s Word all over my home. So happy worlds collide with the DaySpring (in)courage Everlasting Light giveaway I shared with you last week! HUZZAH!

star necklace

When (in)courage launched its Everlasting Light collection at DaySpring recently, I was honored to be asked to be part of the launch team.

But with Christmas fast approaching, I am often bogged down with the stress of trying to select perfect gifts for family and friends. So, in case you are ever tempted to the same predicament, I wanted to share a few of my other favorite meaningful bits and pieces from DaySpring. [They offer great pre- and post-Black Friday deals, so I’ll probably share some over at my facebook page in the coming weeks, but I wanted to share my faves here (along with announcing last week’s giveaway winner!).]

First off, let’s talk DEALS! These items are on sale or cheap as chips right now…

Inspirational Glass Dome

First, I am loving this Inspirational Glass Dome. And there is something about a cloche I just adore. I don’t know why. It’s a thing. I imagine using it to cover a petite cake or an aged little terracotta pot of ivy. Right now it is more than half off at $13.99! LOVE that. This is a glorious hostess gift for all those holiday gatherings too!

Peanuts Christmas - Merry Christmas - Advent Calendar

One of my favorite Christmas traditions growing up, besides my mom baking epic amounts of goodness, is doing an advent calendar. The Peanuts Merry Christmas Advent Calendar takes it up a notch with fun and/or meaningful activity suggestions as you count down to Christmas. This one is on clearance for only $1.99… So get one for each child ’cause then you won’t have to haggle whose turn it is to open a little door! There are also this one and this one, if you want a different Peanuts calendar for each child (these two are $3.99 each).

Joyful - Christmas Paper Garland

I also lurve these paper chains. Did you guys do countdown paper chains growing up? I think these are meant to be decorative, but I love the idea of letting the kids tear off one each day to countdown to Christmas Day.

Live & Love - Christmas Paper Garland

Snow Birds - Christmas Paper Garland

Names of Jesus - Christmas Paper Garland

Light the World - Christmas Hymns - Christmas Paper Garland

Some have meaningful or inspirational conversation starters on them too. Love that. Each of these chains is 36 links long and $4.99 each.

Let’s talk home decor and gifts, too!

Merry Christmas - Christmas Countdown Calendar

If you want a more permanent countdown calendar, how darling is this Merry Christmas Countdown Calendar?! GAH! I’m sure my kids would love moving the peg along and figuring out ways to “help those around you” and “spread joy”! It’s $48 right now, but–PSSST!–on Monday, November 24th, EVERYTHING at DaySpring will be 30% off!!! So you can get this for $33.60.

Lyrics for Life Christmas - Messiah

And if you want to add in (or switch out) some seasonal art prints, I just love these. There are four in the series, all with a folksy Scandinavian feel. They range in size and in price ($12.99-24.99). I would hang the green, red, and pale gold one in a series. [You can scroll down to “you may also like” on this Messiah one to see the other three.]

I love to have God’s Word and truth hanging on my walls as an everyday encouragement and reminder. DaySpring has a ton of ADORABLE canvases and prints right now, to gift or to KEEP! Here are my top five:

Begin Each Day - Wall Art

Just. This. A grateful heart. [It’s so important, y’all!]

A Grateful Heart - Wrapped Canvas Print

And there is this one, “A Grateful Heart” wrapped canvas print, my utter and absolute favorite. Truth. [Sorry the link is being cantankerous, but if you click any other picture/link in this post, you can easily find it under “A Grateful Heart – Wrapped Canvas Print.”]

Our God Is - Wrapped Canvas Print

And why be so grateful? It’s a natural overflow of knowing who God Is and what He’s done and is doing.

How about hanging the above as a trio with these two:

Hope in the Lord - Wrapped Canvas PrintFor I Know the Plans - Wrapped Canvas Print

What if your kids had those truths hanging over the kitchen table, hmm? Give them something other than MineCraft to meditate on, perhaps?! Ha! đŸ™‚

A Grateful Life Is Blessed - Vinyl Wall Art

And although it’s not wall “art,” per se, I love this bit of inspiration to hang over the door to the garage, one last word to our souls as we dash out the door in the mornings!

Grace - Letterpress Block Set

Or these 4″ – 8″ letter blocks to spell out anything you want. Because LETTERPRESS!! Perhaps “mr. & mrs.” for over your bed? “The Cleminsons” or “est. 2001” or “CampClem” in the house somewhere maybe?! YES!!  [Yep, this link won’t work for me either, but these are easy to find if you follow any other link in this post, then type “letterpress blocks” into the search bar.]

Okay, let me contain my enthusiasm for a moment! Ahem. If you are looking for an inexpensive but thoughtful gift, especially for someone who has everything, or for a hostess, I love a beautiful ornament this time of year.

Love Came Down - Christmas Porcelain Ornament

Of course, Glory Haus makes the most adorable everything ever. This Love Came Down porcelain ornament is just lovely. I love the look and the sentiment. There’s also a cross one in the same style. These are great gifts!

Everlasting Light - Christmas Glass/Chalk Ornament

And as I mentioned last week, there is this Everlasting Light glass and chalk ornament. I would love a tree covered in just these (and their non-chalked counterparts). They are only $6 each!

Okay, one last gift idea, and then–drum roll please!–we’ll get to the winner of last week’s giveaway!

Daily Grace - Grace for Today - Sugar/Candy Bowl

I can see using this to capture little hair clips and ponytail holders in my daughters room, the car keys at the landing spot, paperclips and rubberbands in the office, and maybe… just occasionally… though it would have no hope of STAYING filled, filled with candy, as the name suggests. The petite little Grace for Today sugar/candy bowl is ready to be put to work… and look adorable doing it. I love the handstamped feel and look of this. And it states what I–so desperately at times–need: GRACE FOR TODAY.

Okay, so there now! I hope you like my curated collection of Christmas gift goodies! Remember that you can get 30% off ANYTHING on DaySpring’s website starting Monday with the code 30FRIDAY14. Happy meaningful beauty hunting, y’all!

And meanwhile WHO, you may ask, is the lucky winner who gets $50 to go shopping in the new (in)courage Everlasting Light collection?!

patti ralston dayspring winner

Many congratulations to Patti Ralston of Fargo, Oklahoma!! She is a pastor’s wife (yay, high five, me too!) and mom to two grown children. She says she loves to crochet gifts for people, and she always teaches crafts at Vacation Bible School. I love that! [and I wish I knew how to crochet!] Her entry on Friday, Nov. 7 was selected at random from 340 total entries by Rafflecopter. So YAY for winning! And whether you end up getting the star necklace set (like I chose!) or going with something else from the collection, I wish you happy shopping!
