As many of you know, one of my favorite things about blogging is being able to give fun gifts away to you guys! AND one of my favorite things about DIY home decor (besides saving money) is being able to incorporate God’s Word all over my home. When (in)courage launched its Everlasting Light collection at DaySpring recently, I was honored to be asked to be part of the launch team.

But with Christmas fast approaching, I am often bogged down with the stress of trying to select perfect gifts for family and friends. So, in case you are ever tempted to the same predicament, I wanted to share a few of my other favorite meaningful bits and pieces from DaySpring. One of my favorite Christmas traditions growing up, besides my mom baking epic amounts of goodness, is doing an advent calendar. I also lurve these paper chains. Did you guys do countdown paper chains growing up? I think these are meant to be decorative, but I love the idea of letting the kids tear off one each day to countdown to Christmas Day.

Okay, let me contain my enthusiasm for a moment! Ahem. If you are looking for an inexpensive but thoughtful gift, especially for someone who has everything, or for a hostess, I love a beautiful ornament this time of year.

Of course, Glory Haus makes the most adorable everything ever. This Love Came Down porcelain ornament is just lovely. I love the look and the sentiment. There’s also a cross one in the same style. These are great gifts!

And as I mentioned last week, there is this Everlasting Light glass and chalk ornament. I would love a tree covered in just these (and their non-chalked counterparts). They are only $6 each!

I can see using this to capture little hair clips and ponytail holders in my daughters room, the car keys at the landing spot, paperclips and rubberbands in the office, and maybe… just occasionally… though it would have no hope of STAYING filled, filled with candy, as the name suggests.
