Our First Little Bloggy Giveaway! {Winner Announced}

Oh my gracious! Isn’t it fun to win something? I feel a little awkward because *this* giveaway–entered by commenting on this post over here–is for one of my own painting prints, so it feels like, “Yay, you win a piece of my hot mess.”

A little anti-climactic?

Oh dear, I hope not!

Time to find out who wins a signed/numbered print of this little lovely.

There were nineteen “entries,” but since one of those comments is mine, I entered one through eighteen for the parameters over at the handy dandy random number generator, and out spat this:

[drum roll, please…]

Enter a lower limit:  1
Enter an upper limit:  18
Random Number:  11

YAY! That’s Grey Taylor! Congratulations, Grey! I’m picking up the prints from the printer next week and then I’ll get yours to you!

And in honor of Grey’s verse, Psalm 23, here it is for everyone to enjoy:

 The LORD is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
He makes me lie down in green pastures,
He leads me beside quiet waters,
He refreshes my soul.
He guides me along the right paths
for His name’s sake.
Even though I walk
through the darkest valley,
I will fear no evil,
for You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff,
they comfort me.

You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
Surely Your goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

{And in related news, I’m thinking about giving etsy a go. I’ve done custom stationery, birth announcements, invitations, etc. since 2004 as a “cottage business,” but it can be so very time consuming, and–since I’m so not a business woman–doesn’t really pay for the time I put into it… But with etsy, I could just put up creations as the fancy strikes and see if they get a nibble, no? WHEEEE! So if you didn’t win this print but still want one, a limited run might soon be available to you on etsy… Details to follow as developments merit…}
