Using What You Already Have: Free New Necklace

I just got a “new” piece of jewelry, and I didn’t even have to bead it myself or have an anniversary or anything! Score!

I’ve had this James Avery necklace since high school. It’s a simple cross on a long sterling chain.

So I just raided my dusty, little jewelry box and found another pretty James Avery cross (from college, maybe, I think?), and a cute little trio of Mary Engelbreit charms (probably also dating back to college and–if memory serves–from my sweet mom).

So I just added the other pendant and charms onto the necklace, and voila: I had an instant new charm necklace.

Fun. Simple. Fast. …And FREE! Score.

So, maybe there are some old rings or earrings or charms or pendants who might want to all join forces and make you a new charm necklace, too? Wheeee!
