Well, it’s been minutes and minutes since I’ve sewn something (haha)…
…so it was time! I took a little 6-12 month sized dress…
…cut around the “bib” detail and cut straight across the bottom right under the armpits…
…added a strip of hot pink microcord and elastic as the waistband (width cut to diameter of cut-off skirt opening; elastic length to fit just around child’s waist), sewed the bib onto a $2 Old Navy tank, and called ‘er done!
Don’t you just love a fast, easy, simply adorable upcycle project?!
