Babydoll’s outfit just was not working for me.

She actually has an adorable American Girl Bitty Baby… But the bitty baby is not quite bitty enough for her yet, and she has become quite attached to a little $10 Walmart babydoll. Go fig.

So shazaam, we took care of that.

A simple peasant dress was easy enough to whip up for Sis (you can see a no-pattern tute for one here). Babydoll’s design needed to be modified a bit… since she doesn’t really have shoulders, so hers is a clasp closure.

Originally, Sissy’s dress was long-sleeved, but they got cut off today, so she and babydoll are ready to carry on into the summer with their coordinating outfits.

I like the ric-rac trim on the dresses, but I might have used a smaller ric-rac trim for the babydoll’s dress if I had it to do over again.

Sissy says Babydoll approves. I’m very happy to hear that. Thanks, Babydoll.
