DIY Silver & Sparkle Pinecones {and 4 ways to use them}

Here’s a fun and simple craft to fill in any gaps in and add a little sparkle to your Christmas decor! And it’s a perfect one for including the kids!

First, send the kids out to gather pinecones while you pull out some white and metallic spray paint (nickel and champagne used here, but any silvers, golds, or bronzes are great!) and glitter.

[If your pinecones are fresh from the great outdoors, you might want to put them on a lined cookie sheet at 200 degrees for about 30 minutes to get rid of sap and critters… We don’t want some replay of the acorn debacle, now do we?!]

First paint the pinecones white, then metallic, then sprinkle with glitter while still wet.
