Okay, so Monday we talked about how to put together a send-home letter of info to help organize a great week of appreciation for Teacher Appreciation Week. We did sweet treats on Monday and special order Starbucks on Tuesday, so let’s talk about Wednesday and Thursday, ‘kay?!
Okay, so reversing the order a little, on Thursday, the kids’ gift to the teachers was a couple of class supplies and a couple of gift cards! The class supplies were, well, for the class…
…But the giftcards were for the teachers. [The front of these giftcards had cute little cartoon monsters on them, hence the “your little monsters” sign off.]
We included a separate Target giftcard for each teacher with strict instructions that the money was not to be spent on school stuff! 🙂
And then YAY! I LURVE making bouquets of happiness to brighten our teachers’ desks!
When my AWESOME co-room mama suggested flowers, I thought budget would be prohibitive: a decent small arrangement can cost $50 easily, and we needed two…
BUT I whipped up these arrangements on a TIGHT budget. [Hang tight: I’m going to share next week how to create your own custom floral arrangements very inexpensively–it only cost $25 total to make these two!]
So pretty. 🙂
And there you have it! Teacher Appreciation Week has brought sweets, coffee, flowers, supplies, and giftcards… So WHAT did we do to wind it all up on Friday??
Welp, remember those silly questionnaires we sent home? Come back Friday to see how they all came together…
And see the buggy-froggy personalized goodness we made too, wheeeee! 🙂
The end of the school year is almost here… Are your wheels turning yet?? I’d love to know your favorite teacher gift ideas that you’ve seen or done. Do tell! 🙂
