Okay, let’s finish up with the goodness of Teacher Appreciation Week, shall we? hopefully you caught parts 1 & 2 earlier in the week!
For Friday of Teacher Appreciation Week, we took in two prezzies. The first was a book of the funny questionnaires we’d sent home the week before. I grabbed a snazzy little binder from Target to use for this, but a photo album would also be excellent (like we did with this teacher thank you book last year).
We added a title page printed on the same cutesy stationery that the original parent letter went home on.
Then we three-hole-punched and inserted all the funny questionnaires (this is why we printed them on cardstock: for durability).
On each facing page, we adhered a photo or two of the corresponding child. [I took these photos at the Easter party at school.] So each photo was on the back of the preceding student’s page.
So as the teachers flip pages, they will have the photos and answers from each child.
I hope they love it! I certainly got a giggle out of reading a few of the kids’ answers! My favorite? What Mrs. Smith always says: “It didn’t grow legs and walk away.” Too funny.
We wrapped it up with a little twine and a gift tag.
The other gift we gave on Friday is a name sign for for our sweet teachers. [You can see how to make those here.]
We included a few cute details like a frog (Mrs. Smith’s fave) and a ladybug (Mrs. Hooper’s fave). Yay!
Well, once it was all said and done, I really really really hope our teachers felt appreciated. And I am so grateful for other parents in our class willing to jump in and make the week possible! Wheeeee!
So, what’s your favorite teacher appreciation gift idea? Do tell!
