Wait, did I say debris? I meant updates… “Kitchen On The Cusp {and other random project UPDATES}”… Yeah, that’s the ticket.
I was plowing through projects this past week until I ran out of spray paint. And although I’ve restocked, it has rained. And rained and rained and RAINED. Like all day, every day. *sigh*
Which is fine. I love the rain. [But it isn’t helping get chalkboard paint on this huge board any faster.]
And the molding for this project got cut months ago. Ahem, like back in February, to be exact.
It’s been in the garage just leaning up against the lockers, waiting for its day to shine. [Don’t worry, your day is coming, guys!]
So what does a creative person do when her plan A is put on hold? Um, hello, plans B, C, and D, huzzah! My brain is always firing… It can be a bit dangerous… But I had a fixture epiphany… Hopefully my idea will work… And I now have in my possession the most amazingly beautiful in every way, inside and out, lighting possibility…
Which pretty much looks like garbage right now, but I cannot WAIT to tell you its story. *deep breath and fingers crossed*
For now it’s tucked away [read: hidden from my hubs until I get it to a presentable and pitchable point] in the laundry room.
Of course, this lady, from my LuLu’s Consignment frames, finally got adiosed.
But she might reappear in a very different form.
And there is glass and foam core in the dining room. You know, to keep the million-fabric-projects-in-progress company. Because, you know, that just blesses my husband’s heart.
So here’s the kitchen as it stands… But hopefully VERY soon it will have a major yet simple and inexpensive style upgrade. Here’s to creativity, wheeee!
