(in)courage: Everlasting Light Collection {& giveaway!}

[This post contains affiliate links, and the $50 giveaway and Everlasting Light Collection Star Necklace Set were provided to me by (in)courage by DaySpring. All opinions are wholly my own.]

I was so excited to be asked to join the launch team for a beautiful collection from (in)courage called Everlasting Light. The tough part wasn’t saying yes, but choosing from a curated group of decor and jewelry pieces to chat about here!

Everlasting Light - Star Necklace Set, Set of 3

In the end, I chose this: the Star Necklace Set. Of course, you know how I love a good deal, and getting three necklaces in one fell swoop definitely appealed to me. [These would make a great gift for three daughters or granddaughters or sisters/girlfriends too!]

And aesthetically I am just in love with the dainty chains and whimsical shapes. They are in three lengths, so you can have them hang so “stars align,” in a straight row, or a little more organically. [Of course, I like the shorter two to be asymmetrical while the longest hangs down the middle.]

I’m on day three of wearing this trio of cuties, and although I first thought I might split them up and wear each individually, I have ended up wearing them together each day. It’s so nice to add a little gold into my mostly-silver jewelry wardrobe too!

Can I tell you the heart of the matter on why I love these particular pieces, and the collection behind them? Because I wondered if my husband and I would be able to have children, and now I have three beautiful ones. These star necklaces are a visual reminder to me of the treasures I have born.

“Lift up your eyes and look to the heavens: Who created all these? He who brings out the starry host one by one and calls forth each of them by name. Because of his great power and mighty strength, not one of them is missing” (Isaiah 40:26).

Just as God names and numbers the stars, He knows the names of my precious ones.

And I think of Philippians 2, hoping we can raise our children to shine brightly like stars, not just teaching but modeling what this looks like:

“For it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure. Do all things without grumbling or disputing, that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world” (Phil 2:13-15).
