Sunny Sideboard Transformation

Few things make me happier than a friend who shares the joy of a thrifty piece of made-over furniture! So when my friend Melodie asked about our paint sprayer, I was only too happy to oblige!

[Update: you can read all about my love affair with my sprayer starting with this post where I transformed an antique CraigsList buffet. Wheeeeee!]

Originally her grandmother’s, Melodie’s little server, which has lived in her kitchen up until now, was ready for a makeover.

Que the perfect color for this project: This is Valspar satin in fall leaves. MARVELOUS!

An afternoon with the paint sprayer, and VOILA!

Seeing this wonderful color on a furniture piece has my trigger finger itching once again! I think this color works brilliantly for the fall and equally well for the spring! Two-fer! Well done, Melodie!

So, is anyone else inspired to give an old piece new life with a coat of colored paint? Do tell! Wheeeeeee!
