It’s time for another fun Matilda Jane Clothing outfit review and giftcard giveaway, y’all!

I totally adore ruffles and smiles and a little bit of the unexpected in clothes. Matilda Jane Clothing is a touchstone of color and design inspiration for me in my own sewing. They are totally in step with the joie de Wheeeee! that we love around here!

Their values of keeping little girls little girls and giving back (Mighty Acorn Foundation) score them big points in my book.

I also love that pieces can be collected over time, mixed and matched between seasons (like the above outfits, incorporating pieces from Serendipity and Good Hart).

And while Spring continues to waver in full flux (shorts and a tank yesterday for me… chance of snow tomorrow??), you can go with shorts or pants & a shirt with your knot top.

And mixing pieces in with others your daughter already has in her wardrobe adds a nice finish and polish. [This is the Good Egg Headband.]

The Good Egg Headband can be worn folded over or opened up. The opened up look if totally screaming to me for a trip to the farmer’s market! LOVE.

Matilda Jane also makes women’s clothes, yippee! I’m ALL about ruffle pants. And the “mommy and me” possibilities are pretty stinking cute too.

The “Wonderful Parade” Spring 2014 collection is full of color and whimsy. Mixing the pieces with each other or with other pieces from Sis’s wardrobe has us ready to head to the farmer’s market, a family photo shoot, a playdate, preschool, church, and beyond!

The details worked into every piece are so delicious: ribbon and eyelet lace and ruffles galore on this Love Bug Knot Top. All the knot tops have a tie back and straps (so you can order a size up and wear it for a few years!!).

These Sweetheart Ruffled Leggings have three [YES, THREE!] layers of ruffles. Hello, my happy place.

And look at the tulip sleeves on the Cloudy Puffer Tee!
