Yay, it’s almost Valentine’s Day! Here’s a round up of CampClemian goodness for you, wheeeee!!!
FOOD
Let’s kick off the celebration with a couple of yummy treats:
Oreo pops, anyone? SO much simpler than cake pops (and I think they taste WAY better too). WIN!
…Or perhaps a little fast and simple semi-homemade strawberry shortcake?
And this is our traditional Valentine’s Day breakfast, complete with heart-cut strawberries… 🙂
VALENTINES
But–oh!–what about valentines?
For her…
For him…
OH! Or photo valentines, great to send to family…
And even valentines for the grown ups!
And here are “I mustache you,” a trompe l’oeil, school of fish, and “Love is a battlefield” valentines, along with some fun & easy-to-prep preschool party games:
Of course, you’ll need a proper post box to put all those valentines in:
DECOR
Good, now let’s decorate! You could do last week’s pink burlap wreath, or…
Or…
And a sweet little birdie makeover:
And a love banner made from clearanced felt Christmas ornaments:
And of course, your Valentine’s could be a little sweeter if you read this (you know, that post where I’m looking heinous, glasses, no make up, in a bathrobe? Yeah, that one)…
And more in the love series:
And love and the garbage bin, here:
I hope your week is filled with expressions of love. My heart is full over here at the Camp, not because of a special day, or even being surrounded by the ones I love, but my heart is full because of the One who first loved me.
“We love because He first loved us” (1 John 4:19).
“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him” (John 3:16-17).
And that is the true love I hope for all of you this week. Be blessed. xoxox
